Racing Towards a Stronger Community

The roar of the engines, the thrill of the race, the electric atmosphere – the Las Vegas Grand Prix is an unforgettable experience. But beyond the high-octane excitement, we are deeply committed to making a lasting, positive impact on our community. We believe in the power of motorsports to unite and uplift, and we are dedicated to using our platform to drive meaningful change in Southern Nevada.

  1. Small Business Program: In partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), we have launched a Local Business Directory to support small businesses, encouraging visiting race teams, partners and businesses to utilize their goods and services during race week.
  2. Investing in Our Community: We committed $1 million in cash to local non-profit organizations driving positive change and $1 million in event tickets to honor extraordinary locals, furthering our commitment to the community we call home.
  3. Community Engagement Events: We believe in bringing the excitement of race week to everyone. We’re hosting a variety of events, including community watch parties, a free, two-day F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix Fan Experience filled with fan festival activities and exclusive opportunities like Graduates on the Grid, where UNLV engineering students can tour Grand Prix Plaza and meet with F1 teams.
  4. Education: We are passionate about fostering the next generation of leaders and innovators and are focused on supporting organizations that promote STEM education, especially those serving our most at-risk student populations.
  5. Sustainability: The Las Vegas Grand Prix is committed to sustainability through efforts such as recycling, food recovery, low-emission temporary power and piloted a first-of-its-kind water conservation project in 2023.

See below for some of the exciting ways we are engaging with our community across these pillars!

Honoring Extraordinary Locals

We believe in recognizing the remarkable individuals who make our community thrive. As part of our commitment, we have given away tickets to several outstanding locals:

  • Hailey Dawson: A young advocate for individuals with Poland Syndrome and a passionate Aston Martin fan.
  • Josh and Martha Molina: Small business owner who recently received the 2024 Nevada Small Business Administration Family-Owned Small Business of the Year award.
  • Bob Ayoub: A dedicated Three Square food bank driver and avid F1 fan.
  • Laura Jeanne Penrod: Nevada’s State Teacher of the Year.

Recent Events

We are always looking for ways to give back. Recently, we hosted the Clark County Family Services’ Back-to-School event at Grand Prix Plaza. 2,000 foster children received new school supplies, backpacks and shoes for this school year.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix is more than just a race; it’s a testament to the spirit of our community. We are proud to be a part of Las Vegas and look forward to many more years of giving back.
